It’s one thing to be able to do something you love for a living, but it’s another to take something you love and turn it into a world of success and triumph for not only yourself but the people around you.
Mike Duggan has taken his passion for golf and turned it into a stream of success with this season being his 12th season as the golf coach here at Durham College. It’s interesting, he explained, because he got the position by a fluke.

Rock N’ Reel is back for the 10th year, but it’s got a new name.
The Reel Music Festival kicks off on March 24th and runs until March 27th all over campus. There are plenty of events scheduled, like concerts, seminars and contests and everything has to do with music.
“It’s a four-day conference, a music conference,” said Tony Sutherland, the Music Business Management program coordinator and the coordinator of the festival.

Students looking for confidential, free and non-judgmental advice from fellow students can visit the SHRC on campus.   Located inside the Campus Health Centre, the Sexual Health Resource Clinic is a cozy, friendly place to go and speak about matters regarding sexuality and sexual health.

Coffee battle brewing

A sea of pink down the halls of Durham College and UOIT is what the Women’s Centre and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual and Queer Student Support Services (LGBTQ Centre) is hoping to see this Thursday as the Day of Pink is celebrated.
