I don’t no what Kate is talking about but The Crooked Uncle bar and grill is a wicked sports bar we have been going here since our first year at UOIT, ya your not going to get your tipical pop music! they play great rock music and the food is amazing. I think everyone should experience this bar because it is different then our traditional pup. But i guess some people just want to stay on campus the whole semester! anyways if your not into pop music and want to enjoy a great night out with friends i recomend the Uncle for sure!

I am wondering if I may volunteer a one hour music ‘show’ to your station. It would be a variety of mostly easy listening music as a fill-in between your other radio programs, if needed. I can send them in on CDS or what ever is OK wth you. Thank you. I am an ‘oldtimer’ I guess you would say. I presently work in the repair department of Long and McQuade on Simcoe Street weekdays. H.E.R. is no longer a club on campus. It was removed, just like the Cheerleading team.

Of course it should be open during Reading Week – It’s a STUDENT pub. It should also be open on the weekends, but they don’t let that happen, either.

Instead of wasting money on their always empty Thursday nights, they should be focusing their efforts on engaging the students with fun and original event ideas. Are we really going to see the same events three years in a row?

On a side note, they don’t have a consistently good turn out on any of their weekly nights. It’s such a disappointment.
