The Grilled Cheese cook off competition at Durham College has been moved to March, 14. The event coordinator visited one of the local cheese farmers involved in the competition to help highlight the local sustainability focus of this event.

There will soon be a new grilled cheese sandwich option on the Aramark retail menu
Don Lovisa is not only the big cheese on campus. He will also be competing against teams, made up of students from the Culinary program, to see who can come up with the best grilled cheese sandwich recipe. The event is happening March 6, during the lunch hour at the Fresh Food Company lounge in the South Village residence.
Here’s the kicker, Lovisa is putting together his own team to compete against the culinary students. So students beware, Lovisa is recruiting some serious efforts for his team including, rumour has it, a celebrity chef.
