Alicia Del Fuoco and Alex Down from the Durham Lords Women’s Soccer team are going to the OCAA Women’s indoor soccer championship

The Durham Lords Women’s Indoor Soccer team has made it to the finals! It is their fifth season qualifying for the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) championship. The team finished in second place at the OCCA regional with a 1-0-2.
The Lords will meet up with the other top eight teams at the provincial finals, that will take place at the Ontari0 Soccer Association (OSA) Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario on March 21 and 22 .
The Durham Lords started the regional championship with two ties, Georgian College, home to the Grizzly (1-1) and Sault College, home to the Cougars (0-0). The Grizzly, Georgian College was the other team from pool D to advance to the provincial finals, finishing in first place with a record of 2-0-1 record.
